Mewtwo Strikes Back

Summary:

    Scientists from around the world have been working together to create the strongest pokemon ever. They have copied the Legendary Pokemon Mew's DNA to be clone and transformed into Mewtwo. The project was a success and Mewtwo was created but, instead of thanking the scientists; Mewtwo destroyed the lab and it was in search of his purpose in the world. Leader of Team Rocket, Giovanni was curious and searches for Mewtwo at the island. He finds Mewtwo and agrees to find his real purpose, having to train and fight battles at Giovanni's gym. Never losing to any of the battles at the gym, Mewtwo still wants to know his purpose on life and when Giovanni says that his real purpose is to only serve the humans; Mewtwo was angered and destroyed the gym. He sets off back to the island to search his real purpose for himself...

    We see our friends getting ready to eat their lunch but suddenly a trainer walks up in front of Ash and demands for a battle! Ash wins by the help of Bulbasaur and Pikachu to defeat foe Donphan and Machamp. As Team Rocket far of the distance getting ready for lunch.

    Mewtwo possesses nurse Joy and used a camera to watch the battle of Ash. Mewtwo sends out invitations to powerful trainers from which the battle stadium that he was created, Ash and his friends received the invitation from a Dragonite seemingly controlled by Mewtwo. Ash and his friends accepted the letter and head towards the harbor on which needs to cross the sea to get to the island. Ash and his friends see Officer Jenny warning and redirecting people because of a weather storm. Some trainers fly over the island even though Officer Jenny warns to arrest them. Meanwhile, Ash thinks for ways to get to the island and sees a boat with Team Rocket disguised as Vikings. They offer them a free ride and they continue to head for the island. Waves hit them harder and harder until TR's disguises worn out, and washed away. Ash and his friends use their water pokemon to get to the island safely as Team Rocket was washed at the shore of the island by the help of Weezing.

    Ash and his friends finally reaches the shore and sees three more trainers waiting as Nurse Joy says to wait for her master meaning Mewtwo! Mewtwo does show up and gives a warmful speech to the trainers about Pokemon and Humans not working together and training pokemon are like being slaves to humans. Pikachu explains Mewtwo about his friendship with Ash. Mewtwo doesn't believe Pikachu and sends Pikachu flying to the wall, Ash catches Pikachu and Mewtwo challenges all of them into a battle! Ash and his friends battled against Mewtwo but Mewtwo was invincible and defeats the pokemon of all the trainers. Mewtwo gets all of their pokemon to create a clone of them with black poke balls. Ash tries to save pikachu from the cloning machine but they end up falling together. They get sent by a machine whom team rocket landed earlier at the shore. However, the machine explodes and overloads; the black pokeballs open and the pokemon get returned to their trainers. But the pokemon were still cloned and battled with Mewtwo's side.

    Ash then battles Mewtwo but then gets several smash at the wall. Mew suprisingly appears to save Ash and had a gruesome battle with Mewtwo. Pikachu refuses to battle with his bad side clone however the clone fights with him. They think about the pokemon's battle sort of way to death. All the Pokemon were tired and can barely go and fight.

    Mew and Mewtwo to agree to finish the battle with a final attack however Ash gets in the way and gets turned into stone! Pikachu made electric attacks to hit Ash but it was useless. Pikachu cries for desperation and the tears hit Ash and turns him back to life. Mewtwo realizes that Ash sacrificed himself for the pokemon an so fleeing out and saying that he will never forget the day and will never forget the events.

    Ash and his friends return back into the island seeing nurse Joy redirecting the other trainers they didn't remember anything nor did Team Rocket. Ash sees Mew flying on the sky and ends up in curiosity with the battle of Mew and Mewtwo...
