Emerald

The last game of the 3rd Generation. This game was released in Japan on September 16, 2004 and in US on April 2005. This game is like a sibling of the R/S series and is much similar to the Yellow and Crystal Versions. It is on the storyline of Hoenn but with different gameplay. The characters have been dressed with green colors to match the game. Both of Team Magma (which threatens to control Groudon) and Team Aqua (which summons Kyogre) will both be in the storyline of this game. Animated sprites from the Crystal version will be back and the sprites are animated. G/S' Match Call will be back and you can keep in touch once again. Updated Breeding and Ability additions have now been brought to this game. Some Pokemon from the Kanto and Johto region will make an appearance including the G/S/C starters. New areas including Magma Hideout, Mirage Tower, Desert Underpass, Marine Cave, Terra Cave, Studio Cave & finally and most importantly, the Battle Frontier. A new Gym Leader and a new Champion that you will be facing when you buy this cartridge!
